* West Park, 3 Oct: 'Recurring issue'

(22025) Complaint about noise disturbance at a property in West Park, Clifton Down, on 3 October 2022.

Resident wrote to UoB: "Last night I was woken up at around 11.15pm with loud voices coming from the kitchen as the doors were open. This went on until at least past midnight. There were similar disturbances on Monday, 5 September, and Tuesday, 6 September, when the students first moved in."

The resident says she and a neighbour subsequently spoke to the occupants on two occasions, latterly on 22 September. "We ....spoke with two girls who live there who were very nice, apologised and thanked us for letting them know and said that they would let their other housemates know."

"As we have already been round twice, please will you contact them about the open doors to the garden amplifying noise, especially at night, and disturbing / waking neighbours. This is a recurring issue every academic year and voices are audible even with ear plugs in and windows closed."
