(21021) Complaint about noise disturbance at a property in Stanley Road on 18 July 2021.
Resident reports that after talking to students about noise at a property in Lansdown Road (see separate report) he learned of another event nearby:
"After that encounter ... I meet another neighbour who says there’s another noisy party in the back garden of a house in Stanley Road, but the students are ignoring requests for it to stop. Going round to Stanley, the party is easy to spot—groups of students milling around on the street outside number [xx], with the front door wide open and students in the hall. Going up to the door, a young man comes to meet me and I find myself repeating the same points made to students at [x] Lansdown. His response is more dismissive—we’re all leaving he says, we’re all leaving. There’s no sense of apology, just annoyance that their night of fun is being spoilt."
