(23011) Complaint about noise from a student flat in Richmond Terrace, Clifton, on 3 October 2023.
Resident wrote to UoB: "Tuesday night, the Hall Floor [flat] was full of students and the noise in the kitchen was very intrusive. Window open. I rang the bell at 12.30am to ask them to shut the window."
By way of background, the resident explained that both she and the landlord had previously asked the students to keep the kitchen window shut because of the proximity of other flats: "The landlord has always been quick to respond to noise complaints and recently fitted acoustic glass, which is marvellous, but only effective when the windows are shut, obviously."
