* Mortimer, 17 Oct: 'Noise till after 5am'

(21073) Complaint about noise related to a student party at a flat in Mortimer Road, Clifton, on the night of Sat-Sun, 16-17 October 2021.

Resident says: "The noise of music and talking from within the flat was very loud from 11.00 pm to midnight, and there were also lots of people coming and going outside and hanging around outside [neighbouring properties] and making a great deal of noise. I texted Operation Beech at around midnight. I received a text at 00.38 am saying that Operation Beech had attended, but unfortunately the Beech visit was to no avail as the music and noise from within the property continued as did the extraordinary level of noise on the street from outside of the property. The music was turned off at around 03.00 am, noises from the street continued until at least 04.00 am. At 05.10 am there was noise from people talking in the back garden. My husband ... opened the window and asked people to go inside, which they did."

The resident quotes a neighbour as saying “We shut all windows and heard banging all night from the house, and I woke to noise in the street quite a few times."

According to her report, another neighbour said: "We were woken a bit throughout the night ..."
