Two residents have complained about frequent street noise in Lansdown Road, Chandos, on the night of 9 October 2021.
Resident1 says: "10.00 pm on and off until 12.15 am — groups of young people shouting, singing very loudly as they walk, run past, either down to Kensingston Road or up to Chandos. I try to sleep, on the third floor of our house. We do not have double glazing and I am a light sleeper.
"This loud traffic of young people walking and running down this road is not an uncommon event. However it seems to be escalating. ... Difficult to know what can be done. Upsetting and disturbing."
Resident2 wrote to UoB: "Last Friday night - 8th to 9th Oct. - there were so many students coming and going it would be impossible to catalogue every incident. All were making so much noise our sleep was continually disturbed, and this went on continuously through the night until about 5.00am."
