* Lansdown, 26 Oct: 'Unbelievably loud'

(21077) Complaint about noise disturbance at a property in Lansdown Road on 26 October 2021.

Resident says in an email to UoB: "Around 11.15 to 11.30pm last night there was loud shouting in Lansdown Road. It had all the hallmarks of students assembling at one of the nearby student houses, but was much louder than usual and littered with expletives.

"This was disturbing enough, but then there was an unbelievably loud "Ella, the f***ing Uber's here!" It could not have been shouted any louder, and was followed by more shouting. This could not be ignored, but by the time I got downstairs and onto the street, cars were driving away so it wasn't obvious which students had been involved. Today, after asking around, neighbours have confirmed it was students at [xx] Lansdown Road."

A second resident emailed UoB to confirm the account of "noisy and offensive shouting".
