* Lansdown, 25 Sep: '3.30am, doors slam'
(21055) Second complaint about noise disturbance at a property in Lansdown Road, this time on the night of 24-25 September 2021.
Resident says: "My wife and I suffered another disturbed night because of the activities of the students at [xx] Lansdown Road.
"Last night - Friday 24th - the 6 boys had a gathering starting around 11pm ... at about 12.30am they all left in taxis - perhaps a little too noisy for the time of night - and the house went quiet. "Unfortunately, around 3.30am there was slamming of taxi doors and loud voices, followed by the front door banging shut three or four times. Then, all the familiar thumps and bumps and calling to each other that happens when students spread around the house. Students were at open windows talking, and when anyone left there were shouted goodbyes between street and windows. Then music started - just loud enough to annoy when trying to sleep. " ... about 4.00am I went round in my dressing gown to find faces at bedroom windows looking down, so asked those in the nearest window to please come down to talk. Eventually the door opened and one of the boys appeared. To cut a long story short what followed was a mix of apologies from him and remonstrations from me."
