(21024) A resident has complained to UoB and property agents about noise disturbances at Kings House, a block of student flats in High Kingsdown, on 20 and 21 July 2021.
Writing after 1am on 20 July, he said: "Tonight student residents from Kings House were playing football on the green at 00:49; clearly this is completely unacceptable. Can you please ensure that residents understand that the green is not a park. It is designed for enjoyment which is appropriate to a quiet residential neighbourhood. Ball games are stated as prohibited as they are too noisy for residents—particularly [in] the middle of the night."
He added that he suspects the residents of also having been responsible for disturbance the previous night.
At nearly 2am the following day, 21 July, he wrote in a further email: "A little after 01:00 this morning a group arrived back and have continued to party at their flat. Although there is no music, it is far too loud with shouting, swearing and yelling and a ... gathering outside.
"This is the third instance from Kings House in three nights. This is having a direct impact on my wellbeing and that of my partner."
