* Grange, 6 Oct: 'Noisy guests'

(23012) Complaint about noise from a student property in Grange Road, Clifton, on 6 October 2023.

Resident wrote to UoB: "We are woken at 11pm by loud voices from [x] Grange Rd. These persisted so it was obvious to us that no further sleep would be possible. I got dressed and went to investigate. A party was in full swing (no music, thankfully) with the front door open. I took a video ... as I approached and then rang the bell repeatedly until someone came. [Xxx] and [Xxx], whom I had already met, came out and apologised, saying that the party was about to end. ... I reminded them of UoB's noise rules, asked them to be quiet and to close the door. Also, to ask those leaving to do so quietly. They agreed. ... I took another video at 23.41 ... of some guests leaving noisily."
